Had my first "real" Red job last night. It was a simple, short night shoot. The camera performed very well, never failed me when I needed it. A few hiccups before though:

    1) A Red on-board cable that sometimes would go blue only.
    2) Joystick knob came off.
    3) Lower third on-board flickering

The producer and client "loved" the giant YOUR BATTERY IS GOING TO FAIL message. (being sarcastic, please let me turn that one off)

    Click for 1080 stills (5.4MB):

Zeiss standard speeds, nothing else special, Spotshooter's camera.

There are some rally nice shots there Mike. Being a bit iof a fish person, I love the concept for the shoot. Very cool.

Glad to hear that it worked out.

    Cheers

It prevents over-discharge, which dangerous for the batteries. Scared me when I first saw it, but I find it's better to swap batteries when the indicator goes red (10% from memory) than run it all the way down; the charger has a hard time digging the battery out from its grave if you fully deplete it.
