    Yup

    Workflow test 05

Some new, some old, but with an odd tweak....

I've been testing different workflows (and codecs) and what I see, when I assemble a "mixed" timeline in FCP, the non prores files get a heavy gamma-shift upon export, the prores files stays ok.

This is not primarely a test of how to get the most noiseless images, even though there are some pretty noiseless shots here. More like:
Different stuff to do with available light @ night.

I have 2 more tests I will have to try to finish tonight.

Then I go to shoot most everyday the next 2 weeks, so I cannot do too much requests.

Very clean, especially for the amount of available light. How fast were your lenses? In your opinion, are fast lenses the key, or is more about balanced exposure and colour temp?

    Great work, gives me hope!

    Thanks a lot!

All of this is shot with wide open superspeeds, was basically no light there...

The test was basically to collect what I got and try to work with it...

Damn thats sweet. My next short is in a low light area where I may need to use available light and from those shots the RED would kick ass for it.

Gunleik, This one seem to share couple clips with your previous file titled oslo-night, but this time with less noise. What's the difference in between the two? Why the same clips have this time less noise?
