Dear Extended Red Community,
Consider this an impassioned plea.
Last summer I created a website called RedHax.net
This site is a wiki, which means a collective text, and a website that anyone can edit.
The purpose of a forum site like RedUser is to host an active worldwide discussion about this technology. The purpose of a wiki like RedHax is to distill the best knowledge from such a discussion and put it in a well organized place where it can be retrieved and collectively refined. A forum is about discussion a wiki is about consensus.
So if you've ever been stuck searching through a forum for a post you read years ago, then you understand that there is a need for this.
So what am I asking for: a collective effort to create a database of information about Red. In theory if you write 100 words on RedHax your effort will be multiplied by the efforts of hundreds of others. You receive the direct benefits of such an effort. You don't need to know much about formatting wikis, just click the edit tab at the top of the page and words are all you need.
All content on Redhax is copyrighted under the Creative Commons Attribution Share Alike License so the knowledge can be freely copied to other places besides RedHax. Likewise I will never turn the site into a commercial endeavor.
So write 100 words on Redhax and be amazed by the power of collective effort.
