Hi Brian,
I'm really happy with redrock as well.
Are there any plans to make a mount on the back to hold a circular polariser? I think it would be a great addition.

Hi Vince
We are working on three things for the Red-centric community
1. support for 15mm studio (this has been delivered and has been shipping for about 2 weeks now)
2. 5.65" square filter trays (just leaving design now)
3. 138 circ. filter (in design right now)
Cheers
Brian
This is only excellent news, all around. (Guess I have been following the Birger thread for too long...) If I don´t get Craig´s Redrock, I´ll put in our order this weekend.
Vince, you can use the 138mm adapter for the the arri MB 20 for the redrock if you need it soon I believe.
Yes, newspeak is correct in that. You also need the arri bellows adapter as well to connect the two. Mitch Gross knows all on this :)
Brian
Thanks Brian. Yes you can use the bellows back from an MB20 on the RedRock and then house a 138mm filter in the bellow back. But let me note that the parts for this option come in at about twice the cost of the entire RedRock mattebox itself. We have sold a number of these kits and have a specific bundle in our system so all you have to do is ask a Sales Rep. about it.
Hi folks
We have a modified back for the microMatteBox with a larger lens opening for the Red 18-85 2.8 lens (142mm). If anyone has that lens and a microMatteBox and wants to try it out, free to the first comer who can verify it fits and posts pictures of the rig. Please PM me. First come first served.
Thanks
Brian
Hi Harmonica/DJ
We are developing a 138mm mounting solution. I think there are plenty of 138mm filters out there, so we don't have current plans on offering our own. We still offer the IR Cut filter, and our microFilters Bundle including 0.6 ND, 0.6 ND Grad, and circ polarizer.
Cheers
Brian
The micromattebox rocks. For the price its incredible. I cant wait to see the modification. I had to temporarily remove the back cover to fit my cooke 20-100 - but it worked like a charm. The 5.65 square trays will be great too, especially since they more than likely wont be $400 a pop like other companies.
Great Job brian!
