Thanks Sanjin for taking a bullet for the team and pushing this forward for the community. I know you paid a price for that zeal.

I just want to see some noctilux shots of Vienna at dusk, can you make that happen as well Sanjin. ;-) Then maybe a group buy on Noctilux... (joking of course).
IMS is shipping in about two weeks and I will try to get Noctilux for a test but cannot promise 100%.

Alternative for that test should be

    Leica Summilux-R 50mm f 1.0

    or

    Vöigtlander-M 35mm f1.2 VM Nokton.

Sanjin, does the adjustable Backfocus still work with the IMS mount?
    Thanks!

I cannot say anything now and in about two-three weeks all should be clear and open to discussion.

Wow, that happened quickly. It looks by my numbers (going off their website) that one could have the IMS mount with adapters for PL, Nikon, Canon EF, and Leica for about $2500.

And it seems there will be no warranty issues, correct?

PL as a basic plus one or two still lens mounts of choice (Professional Nikon F, Leica R or M, Zeiss/Contax, dumb Canon EF carry the most of 20$ adapters, also Canon FD is attractive vintage lens set,... all it's up to end user/production need),

Mayby it will be possible to adapt the RED PL mount with some extra bit so it will work on the IMS unit. Might be cheaper then having to buy a whole seperate PL mount.
