I don't know if I used the appropriate terminology, but hey... you get it.

The camera should be capable of 100fps at 5K using the full sensor.

Now the Mysterium's max full-sensor clock is 60p. I'll assume that the X's max is 100p.

But what about windowed? Will I be able to shoot 2.5K windowed at 400FPS? Or is that outside of what the sensor itself is capable of?

So what is it capable of?

And is it too late to ask for four-perf?

Didn't they say Scarlet could do 180P burst? 120P is confirmed I know (for now ;). Since it's also based on the X sensor, I'd say at least 180P / 120P at 3K would be possible for the Epic...

EDIT: no idea on 4-perf... well they said Epic was upgradeable, right? Gotta have something to upgrade to...

    Anyway, take care Brook.

  3. #3 Well....
    This is what I get,
The best we can assume is that the ratio is the same. So 25% size equals 400% max frame rate. So if Epic can do 100fps at 5K it should do 200fps at 2.5K based upon all ratios. I bet the sensor can go faster but the data speeds will not allow it. So at 50% or I guess 3.75K you should see 200% or 200fps. This holding true right now we should be able to get full chroma and lumen information at respective resolutions and frame rates as follows: 4K @ 100fps, 3K @ 200fps and 2K @ 400fps. This is assuming based upon the bayer pattern sensor that we can only get 80% of chroma resolution and throw away the other 20% of lumen resolution. Pretty sweet! :ninja:

I could be wrong please correct me if I am.
