Calling out to all RED ROCKET owners that use it on the new Mac Pro.

Are any of you using any type of Black Magic I/O cards?

I'm talking Desktop Video drivers here.

I have stumbled (hard) onto the fact that any combo of RED ROCKET and Desktop Video drivers will cause audio issues and in turn ruin playback on most NLEs e.g. Avid MC and Resolve.
However its fine (playback of video) on RCXPro, FCPX and Premiere but the audio is like rice krispies :P
This occurs in all audio e.g. desktop, iTunes, Pro Tools, etc...

If anyone else has this setup and not having these issues please chime in and tell me all about it :)

I was having similar audio issues while using a RR and Decklink, after some troubleshooting and firmware/software updating I still couldn't figure it out. Soooo, in RCXPro I ended up just changing the preferences to disable RR monitoring & use the BM card for video/audio out. Seems to have solved my problems so far but I guess isn't a real solution if you want to use the RR for monitoring.

At this point were just using RED ROCKET for transcode in RCXPro.

Super fast no matter what system config I have access too.
