hmm... interesting. what kind of video card can drive three high-def monitors like?
i guess if you put 2 of them side by side you'd only be about 100 pixels short of 4K shot at 2.40.
You'd have to have at least 2 cards. But for now it is somewhat of a pipe dream.
But can you imagine a timeline 56 in long? You'd never have to scroll.
Disect them and take out the frame so you reduce the borders. Then put them all together in one massive frame.
Also, what would be the size of it? It wouldn't be 90".
EDIT: or you could build a rear projection rig. Just put 3 lenses on it and focus out the borders some how?
I think I would just get one 30 inch monitor and a 2K projector. Bigger picture, no borders... It would be less resolution, and not as bright as 3 monitors, but still, it would be a much better setup.

The people in these examples are mostly using 17" or 19" screens and getting great results too. Imagine how well a 30" would work.
