  1. #1 Unfortunately, The Dust disappeared.
I got my Red one on May 7th.
I had production shoot on May 9th.

This is a picuture at that time.

    Everything is great.
    No dust.
    I love Red one.

    And I got Nikon mount.
I had test shoot on May 18th.

    Then I found the dust.
This shot is SIGMA 20mm(f1.8) F4 (Tiffen Hot Mirror+FUJI gel ND1.8+Black Promist 1/2) NO CC

    In my room, I checked.
Not on the lens,Not on the OLPF.
I saw the dust on the glass on the sensor.
    This is my explanation.

These shots are SIGMA(24-60mm ZOOM f2.8) 60mm F22 NO FILTER.

I sent RED TEAM my Red one (Maki-san helps me. Thank you very much.).

    Unfortunately, The Dust dissapeared.

    They found nothing.

There was the dust in Japan.
I think the dust is removed during international transportation.

    Please believe me.
    I have some questions.

Is this space between OLPF and sensor sealed or not sealed?

If it is sealed, where is the dust? stay there?
If it is not sealed, Is there any possibility of putting a dust on the sensor again?

Can we clean between OLPF and sensor by ourselves?

    Thanks.

    Hey Ryota,

bummer to hear your camera had a problem.

To answer your questions, the sensor itself is fully sealed so you can't clean it directly. You can clean the OLPF though like you do with your DSLR, using a blower for light dust and a SensorSwipe or similar for heavy stuff.

    Hope this helps,

    Paul

    Hi Paul,

    Thank for your comment.
My Red one is checked by Red Team now.

I am afraid of possibility of putting a dust on the sensor again.

    Thanks.

    Ryota,

I haven't checked your thread till now, sorry to hear.
I had same problem and I sent my red back to California and they could not find anything, but it was there, this is the photo that I took.
I convinced them and my camera went to clean room and opened the sensor and cleaned it.
    Now DUST FREE!

    Check my thread:

problem is RED BODY is aluminum and when it drill some hole on the red's body, they produce some aluminum dust on an air, my dust was shinny curled stuff, which exactly grinding aluminum dust to me.
They moves around, if they don't open the seal of the sensor and will be back.
So you must ask them to open the seal of the black-box.
    sorry to hear!
