FYI on Fedex & BN Numbers

If Fedex is brokering your deal they will send you a One Time Agency Agreement which will ask for your BN (business number). If you are going to provide a BN number and you never imported anything using the same BN number. Make sure you call 1-800-959-5525 (Revenue Canada). Tell them you need to be able to import only and they will issue an Import #.

Typically it will be 0001 so on the fedex form make sure you enter
1. Business Number ___insertBNhere__ RM 0001

If you don't do this step, they will do what they just did to me, and that is hold it for 24 to 48 hours before they process my app. This is not FedEx but Custom's policy.

I thought I'd get it here by the weekend, timing would of been perfect but because no one disclosed this info, now I am stuck without it :(

Every country has a lovely customs import procedure- just try dealing with Mexico's for example. Easier to just come to the U.S. and hand carry- which is what we do...
