Can anyone recommend a lens support accessory (don't know exactly what one calls this) that would fit on the RED 19mm rods? I've found an example here at cavision:

    http://www.cavision.com/rods/lenssupport.htm

Are there any others you use and would recommend?

    thanks

"Lens support for 100mm spaced rods or 105mm spaced rods (Ř19mm) also available"

it looks like the last bullet point on the cavision site says that they offer a 19mm lens support. you already found it, dude!

Called a lens support bridgeplate. (Please note I am not trying to be rude, just thought you and some others may want the technical term for it.)

    cheers

    Thanks for your replies:

Phaz: I couldn't find their new item, although I remember seeing something there...but wasn't it for 15mm rods? Can you give me the link to the item you're referring to?

Gary: Yes, I did see that on their site, I was just wondering whether there were other such devices on the market.

Finner: no offense was taken, I was actually hoping that someone better versed in the lingo of film equipment would point out the real name for the "thingamajiggy". Thanks.
