I love New York because as a DP you can build a reputation with the shots you steel while the cops aren't looking.

I had the pleasure of shooting a small fashion piece for Fly Magazine.
Working with director Noam Griegst and Trump model Milagros Schmoll,
we shot run and gun on the Staten Island ferry, in china town and around downtown. With a wonderful crew and cast.
Fly is now shooting everything they can on Red. So am I.
Many thanks to Trillpix. I was shooting for the loop just like they told me! ;)

    Ian -

Very Nice. You should really take your camera out more often.

I think all that coding is becoming a bad habit.

Besides, do you really think it's that important to add Sony Vegas support to Crimson?

I mean ... when Assimilate releases Scratch Cine-Mini in association with laguun for $188.99 - Crimson will be RENDERED OBSOLETE. (and I am pretty sure that will make your irrelevant)

As your biggest fan, and the guy who cheered you on from day one (and even named Red Trip) - I just want to say - you should get the Crimson 1.0 version to the masses and then ... CLOSE YOUR TERMINAL.

    Shoot movies.

After all, filmmaking is a much more stable, logical, simple and honest business that the world of software development.

PS - now might be a good time to let all your Crimson customers know that during JULY - Crimson support might suffer a bit ... as you will be on-location shooting your first feature -

LOL! and by that I mean I am literally laughiing out loud.

I have to say that Mark L. Pederson is a great friend to have. Whether he bought Scratch, Scratcheeny, or Scratcheenymeeny. He's still the man. (Helps if you have a thick Italian accent).

I have no response. Crimson is not stopping. It's about to rule. That is all I have to say. I'm a dude that spent a decade building a carreer as a DP. It's true. It just happens that I have a compulsive coding habit that started on the Commodore 64. I can't kick either habit. Sorry. I exist. You'll have to deal. ;)

    Beautiful pictures Ian.

I disagree with Mark. I think its important to find balance in the everyday. Some people choose coding & shooting, others, basketball & coin collecting.

    Keep rocking man.
