I'm sure this is a silly question, but with the largest ($150 per month) being 400GB, how does that play out with Red footage... even my small projects seems to have a lot more than 400GB. Or is the idea to use ProRes proxies or something like that?

Generally you'd upload edits or maybe selects, and I believe they get compressed as H264 on Frame.io. You wouldn't upload raw files or all of your footage. It's more of a collaboration/review tool.

Funny side note, at NAB last year I was standing outside the Teradek glass cube when someone from Frame.io was inside talking about it. I had been using the beta and turned to the guy next to me and I said "Have you checked this out? I've been using it for a couple weeks, it's incredible!" And he goes "yeah, I'm one of the guys who made it!" Hahaha, I think he was one of the Diamond brothers? (Twins, right?) I felt a bit silly after that one! Haha

Great tool ! I love it !

But I dare use it for some of some my crazy clients, I'd get like 900 comments and drawings all over every shot ! hundreds of silly requests, like remove that bird in the background, that tree, the sign, that flare, change that guy into a girl, paint that car out,.. etec etc etc etc... Drives me mad !!
I have to make sure I choose which client to give this awesome power too :)

However, When dealing with a post effects house on the other side of the world ! it's the best way to communicate with them... A 100% must have tool !
Would be awesome to get this tool into AE, FLAME, NUKE, all the composting programs, It would be amazing !! Actually it already is. :)

Haha yeah. It'd be great if there was a comment limit, clients can buy extra comments past a given number of 5.

But yes, I'm using it right now and holy shit, this is excellent!!
