Thank you Peter. Taking the gf to the beach for a bit of a breather. This was an intense couple of weeks.

Heh. It's honestly using more "day" and "night" and in this case "morning". My poor girlfriend barely can stand me when I'm in code mode. Probably downed enough caffeine to time travel if I spin fast enough.

Thank you Daniel! I missed that bug. Fixed now. Very good catch as I also needed to add one other thing too.

Heh. This is pretty much exactly why I made this.

Somewhere in the process of making another book I thought about questions I get asked the most. Sometimes several times a day. Having an interactive online tool makes my life and your life easier!

Can't wait to show you more of what's coming. Just need more "ass in chair hours" to knock out some stuff. Taking the weekend off though. I will have my laptop though in case any weird bugs like what Daniel discovered pop up. I'll just hide in the hotel bathroom and code for a bit. My gf doesn't need to know. It's our secret :)

Very nice Phil - and a great service for the entire community.
The REDCamAssist is just begging for an iOS variant. Wonderful tool as is... Many thanks.

You had better ask Brent if hiding in bathrooms works for long - he may have some advice!

    Great! Thanx.
I have a question. The scarlet-w is supposed to shoot 5kFF @4.1:1 according to Jarred here http://www.reduser.net/forum/showthr...c-Change/page3
All the documents on red.com and on your page still shows 5:1 max. I asked two scarlet-w owners about it and they told me that it's limited to 5:1 but I don't really know if they understood how it should work (from Red: "If you select 5:1 and the current settings allow for 5:1, the UI will indicate 5:1 in white and the camera will record at 5:1. If you select 4:1 but the current settings will only allow 4.1:1, the UI will indicate 5:1 in yellow and the camera will record at 4.1:1"). Can you or a scarlet-w owner give a definitive answer about it? If it's the case (and I guess it is, as Jarred and Brent confirmed the 4.1:1 redcode a few months ago), many scarlet-w owners are not aware of that. It's a jump from 102MB/s to 127MB/s. It's important enough to be indicated in all the documents I guess.

Hmm. Interesting about 5K FF. I know 5K 2:1 and WS handle 4:1 though. I think Jarred might have ment 2:1 perhaps?
