Wetransfer Plus or something else?

I intend to buy a Wetransfer Plus account next week.

Which file sharing platform do you prefer to use and why?

I sometimes use we transfer, but I normally use MyAirBridge.com because you can send 20Gb files.

I have a 1TB Google Drive that I use to send clients files. I also use it to sync up my most used documents so I can access them on the go. I can send links to client to files in the drive and manage permissions to add or subtract people as needed. Its also a good amount of space so I don't need to worry about if the file is 4GB or 40GB, I can send it as long as both me and my client have a fast enough connection. At some point though I do just FedEx thumb drives to people if they need it quickly, they have a slow connection and its a large file.

Dropbox first, but about a year ago we noticed Google drive had faster upload and download times for our clients. Not sure if they have changed that but we havent looked back.

Frame.io

Much nicer than we transfer as you can do so much more and also divide up in projects keep files sorted and all the other filmmaker tools it comes with. Makes a file transfer only platform look quite stupid if you ask me.

I have frame.io and a 1TB DropBox. I use Frame.io for most stuff and DropBox for either massive files that I need to store for awhile or big bulk file sets with thousands of pieces.

Get both.

i had gigabit connection and tried 15Gb file to upload Dropbox it takes 1 hour to complete and Google drive gave me 2 mins.
Google Drive is best.

Where I´m sitting I get about realtime to frame.io with 2k prores 444. So their server is rather fast.

I've used https://www.pcloud.com as it gives 20gb transfers/downloads for free. Anything more and you'd need to pay but 20gb is plenty for most client stuff I do.
