anybody have experience with this on dual leopard system?
does it benchmark to advertised rate of around 550-600 mb/s?
is it really as cool as it sounds for that price??

Check out the Caldigit HDpro ( http://www.caldigit.com/HDPro.asp ). They claim to be much faster than the G-speed, though it only goes up to 8TB.
I love the G Raid minis, but I think I'd look elsewhere for storage solutions for editing.
I am just looking into purchasing G-tech RAIDs hardware -
Is there any known editing issues, i don't know about?
Any info highly appreciated.
I've been looking to get my PC up to speed with working in 4K and multiple streams. I found a couple of places that produces RAID servers that are capable of running at speeds up to 800MB/s, which is faster than the G-SPEED XL 16;

We've been using the smaller 6 Drive G-Speed since October with no issues what so ever. I strongly recommend only going with a RAID chassis that has its own RAID controller built into the chassis. Otherwise your RAID might stop working due to an OS update.
Cheers,
