Nice sets. I have the 28,35,50 and 75 fast lomos (ekrans) and they are great lenses. I bought 2 of theses from Sergey. You can get these converted (in Russia) to PL for about 250 per lens, not sure what sergey is charging.
I wish I had the money...

    Richard,
the PL adapter looks like an arri bayonet to PL adapter.

    Hello Sergey,

I bought two lenses from you which you sent to the Poland adress
as specified. I paid for an 18mm and a 35mm. But got from you
an 18mm with scratches and a 50mm.. I tried contacting you
through email but there was no reply..

So I am taking it publicly until you respond as I feel clearly you
have not been fair and open with the sale... I was hoping to buy
more lenses from you because I feel Lomo are gamazing lenses but
after treating a deal like this, I am hesitant...

Please email me at pryczko@gmail.com to clear this up..

    all the best

You're not the same Sergey Kravchenko that's currently playing (very well) at the world series of poker?

If so, go get some sleep and sell your lenses after the main event's finished! :)

Hello, I have Lomo lenses in PL mount. From my experiense, not all Lomo lenses can be converted to PL mount, specially there is a problem with the high speed lenses.

It's best to ask Viktor at spbsale.com to get the answer to this.

Hello, I have Lomo lenses in PL mount. From my experiense, not all Lomo lenses can be converted to PL mount, specially there is a problem with the high speed lenses.
I have yet to see a lomo that can not be converted to PL, it's just a matter of cost. The speeds can certainly be done. In the US it's about 1200-1500 per lens. The diameter of the back of the lens housing (on the speeds) in oct-19 is bigger than the diameter of the PL mount so it has to be turned down, which means disasembling the lens, doing the machine work and reasembling it. It is cheaper in Russia. SPB sales does functional work. It's not the best, but it doesn't cost what it does in the states and it works.

The '90-'91 lomos for Kinor 35-h cameras have an aluminum oct-19 mount that can be removed with 4 screws, and a PL mount put in its place. These are much simpler to do and there for much cheaper (no actual machining of the lens housing, just the mount.). I did one myself, just to see if I could do it, and it was pretty straight forward if you have a good machine shop. Basic lathe work, to very tight tolerances. I would not attempt it with a chinese lathe, but any good quality lathe that lets you hit .0005" tolerances should do (with an operator that can hit those tolerances).

The pitfalls of SPB sales were in my experiance - dull tools (shitty surface finish), slight imperfections in tight tolerances (again most likely from dull tools), and minor binding. The binding may have many reasons from old grease to low tolerance machining. Out of 7 mounts done by SPB, I had to tweek 3. The locating holes on the PL flanges were slightly off (fixed with a file), one of the mounts was round on the part that mated with the lens, but just slightly oval (about .001" to .003" out of round) on the outside diameter (the part that fits into the lens port). This was fixed by simply dusting off a few thousandths till it was round.

As with all lens work, you are going to get what you pay for.

Hope thats help full to some one ;-)

    Nick

    Sergey,

I am interested in your Lomo lenses. I have tried sending you e-mail but it bounced and I have sent you PM, but no response.

Please contact me if you have lenses to sell.

    Thanks,
