    Interesting but I have a similar problem exporting QT files (4K or 1080 ProRes) for my clients to edit. The images look fabulous in Resolve, but washed out when viewed as .mov QT. I later checked the QT files in Resolve and they looked exactly as I graded them. Blackmagic gave me an unsatisfactory answer so I've counted on client to respond if there is a problem. So far none. I will go thru workflow videos and see what I come up with.

    Yes, exporting as OP1a is limited to DNxHD and HDNxHR codecs.

You have to know what signal your giving and getting, how programs interpret them etc. this drove me crazy for a long time too, and most people fight this so your not alone

    Please...I know nothing about "Full Range vs Video Levels and Proper viewing output options".
    For that topic, Would you please recommend one or more of the following;

    1) book
    2) online articles/tutorials/guides
    3) video tutorials/guides

    I very much need to get educated on that.

    Kind thanks,
    Eddie

    Book will not spy on you, need power outlet, force eyes with emitted light, propagate ADD, oversimplification and reality distortion field with "I got it all figured out in 5 mins" impression.
