I got 2 red mounts and the lens work fine, no play at all on 2 separate red mounts. Problems seems to be with the wc pl mount, that being said it was only with theses 2 lens and they have had many lens used on it. Another side note is the red mounts have an anti reflective coating on the inside and taper into the sensor. The wooden camera one is a straight tube with a muted glossy black coating. I have never noticed any reflective issues on the wc or anything like that but certainly the red mount is massively more engineered.

    Cheers

Is there another lens planned by Tokina after the release of the 18mm?

    Thanks

    Yes. At least one :)

Something longer is next. That's all I can say. Should be shown before NAB if everything stays on track.

I'm guessing it will be around 135mm. That seems to be the typical number for the longer end of primes.

It's not a 135mm, but I should have a prototype of it around December/January to test.
