I have a shoot coming up in Iceland in May. It's a small shoot to gather plates and shoot a couple of short scenes. Locations inlcude waterfalls, valleys, glacier, and beach.
I won't have the luxury of helicoptering in, and in fact will have to hike to many of the places, so want to stay fairly light. Will be shooting with an Epic-W, mostly at 6K
My first thought was to bring an Angenieux 24-290 T2.9 so that I can shoot anything with a single (albeit heavy) lens. Downside being weight, cost, and support needed. A primes set would be too inconvenient. Are there other options that can give me T2.8-ish across a broad zoom range? Would I be better off with the Zeiss CZ or Canon?
