I was looking for an alternate to the Red Bricks, and I came across Switronix.com
I ordered the V type hotswap plate and a 90watt v type battery. This hotswap is great. First of all it lets you change batts while in operation. It also gets rid of that 90 second startup delay when you want to change out a battery. The batts of theres I am using double the runtime from the normal bricks. They have this inline charger I want to check out next, products evenly priced and amazing quality so far. Anyone else have any experience with this line?? Outside of red cam operation as well???

Yes, they will work on the dual v-mount plate. However, without modding, they won't pass the battery info to the camera.

Greatly priced for all of this stuff, called Switronix direct and they gave me a dealer. Spoke with a rep named Vinny, was very helpful and FAST with responses and calls back. Might look into this Series 7 dv line that have as well. I'll post my experiences more as I am new to this forum.

No clue. I just know that someone posted in another thread that they had modded theirs to pass RED battery info onto the RED.
