    3. How do they compare to something like a Preston or an Arri one?

They look very promising but some hands on feedback would be interesting.

    Thanks

But, yeah, It's quiet. Plenty of torque and it's different than a Preston WRC4, these 2 systems are incredibly reliable (although I have seen Preston systems go down), and time in service is one thing we obviously haven't seen yet. But if the first few uses are an indication, I have a feeling this system will last.

Yo - this system is... just sooo... nice to have.

I look forward to giving a review 3 months in, 6 months in, and 1 year in - but so far... butter.

    Steven,

Speaking of customer service, whatever happened to those free mushroom antennas we were supposed to get for buying the Ghost Eye through reduser?

Consider yourself lucky you're only missing the "free" antennas. I bought a Ghost Eye unit back in June, tested and decided it didn't fit my needs, returned it within 14 days and was TOLD a refund was processed. This was in June. I'm still waiting for that $1800 to hit my card and getting the runaround from customer service even after providing my credit card statements as proof. I will never buy another Cinegears product again.

It would be nice if we could keep track of who has received their unit at the beginning of the thread. At this point ive totally given up on believing anything tilta says, Theyve told me "two weeks" probably 10+ times. I think the only reliable measure of 'how long until i receive my unit' is just seeing who ahead of me has received theirs.

They're in the 40-50 bracket now. I would expect 25-50 units to ship every 2 weeks based on what I've seen.

Thanks for the replies, it'll be interesting to see how they last long term. Tilta stuff is usually very well built.

#17 here, just came in last Friday the 17th.

For the record it's an amazing product for the price. Seeing the quality and price it's worth the wait.
