I like the look of this. Is this the 40mm or the 65mm? https://imgur.com/a/bcnKRB8

His oral presentation stops at about the 10:15 minute mark and the sample footage comparison starts at about the 10:17 minute mark.

Brainbox Cameras digs into both the A & B Set of the Atlas Anamorphics. Giving you our two cents worth on these groundbreaking lenses that have filmmakers around the world salivating. Check it out!
On this test the 50mm at F2 looks a lot softer then the 40mm and the 65mm. Was this badly focussed or is this generally true?

If I only order one lens. Is there a backorder list per lens? Like, do you send out 40mm lenses faster then 65mm or 50mm for example? Or is the wait the same every lens?

    Joe,

Maybe if you post this question in the comments section for his video, he can answer that for you.

    Joe and Jake,

I think Dan can answer that question when he sees your posts.

It’s nearly impossible to give a “runout” at the moment for individual lenses based on focal length.

I’m sure to the outside world this must seem like “oh, it’s easy.”

One of our key objectives is not to create a mismatch between expectations and reality, in any way shape or form.

I would recommend placing a deposit on one of the lenses that you want the most before September 30th.

This will get you the best possible price, as pricing are going up $1000/lens on any deposit on or after October 1.

You can, in the notes, tell us you want the first available option of x/y/z lens and we can contact you as soon as the single is allocated.

Like Pokémon, we think you might want to catch them all... or more than 1... so there’s room to upgrade your order as you see fit.

    Deposits are refundable.

Even if you change your mind later, I am confident you could find a buyer, or you could get a refund any time prior to delivery. If you’re more on the yes than the no side of the fence, before October 1 is a decent time for a window of opportunity. That’s not a sales technique, it’s more to just help you decide what you may want (or not ! No pressure)

    Best,

    Dan
