    Hi!

I am still on Build 15, which came with the camera. Now that the codec errors seem to be gone, I am ready to upgrade and start doing camera tests with the bumped build.

However, with so many 16 builds and fixes to the builds (I haven't kept track of them), I am a bit confused as far as upgrading to B16 is concerned.

Should I be extra careful to something in particular? Should I download every B16 release and install them chronologically? Should I re-install REDCINE, REDAlert, the Quicktime Component etc in a particular order? Basically, how should I go about upgrading everything to B16 (camera and software) in a clean, trouble-free manner?

Sorry... this would be my first time upgrading my camera to a new build and I want to make sure I do everything right.

Thanks a lot in advance for your advice/help!
    George

If you download the latest Build for the Camera the Download contains all Build 15 2.2.8. which you need to go to 16 and than the 16 v3.2.1

I updated using the SD Card, no problems with any of the upgrading process, just follow the installation instruction within the downloaded folder.

On my Mac i first installed the QT Codec, since i think this is more global than the Apps. Redcine and Redalert both have installers and are independent from each other so no specific order has o be followed.

Don´t forget to format all your CF Cards and Red Raid after going to B16.

    good luck

    Thanks Manuel!

So one needs to go to Build 15 2.2.8. first, then go to Build 16? I have to check if I have this build on my camera.

    Best,
    G.

Build 15 2.2.8 is included in the download package when you download the new Build 16.

    Yep that´s the way.
I´m sure you´re not running 15 v2.2.8 on your camera, this is a build just released to bridge to build 16.
