Which means it doesn’t require any modding, it’s DSmc1/non-swappable OLPF compatible, and should be a fraction of the cost... Only downside is that it requires MF/hassleblad lenses which aren’t as fast/wide as FF35 glass>s35 (so you kinda lose a lot of the benefits for sensors smaller than VV.)

Glad to see Kipon finally shipping those!

P.S. To do what Jacek has done you can simply use that Kipon MF Speed Booster on the DSMC Leica M Mount. Yes we tried that along the way and it's what inspired us to create some new optics.

I'm pretty excited to see these speedbooster mounts. Any update on the Duclos end? Will we see anything at NAB?

Is it also possible to use that same Kipon MF SB glass and insert it into an Arri Alexa Mini Leica mount? With test charts and lenses to infinity moving the glass back and forth until it matches and then 3d printing a housing within the leica mount this should work right? Is there any other speedbooster glass that covers the alexa mini sensor used with full frame leica r glass?

Good production values may not be noticed. Bad production values will be.
