    But what about drivers? What OS is the RED going to run on? Linux? Windows Embedded? Windows CE? BSD? Solaris?

    I would prefer something pretty mainstream like Windows CE just because we would benefit from the drivers and development platform already established.

    wireless capabilities would be a huge bonus, but not necessary. Any third party wireless divice may be a driver nightmare. An accessible API for the RED would be just perfect!
