i noticed that if the camera fully drains the batteries the charger has more problems that usual

try to change batteries before they go under 10% and your problems will be less

    take care karim
I had the red light charger probleme yesterday on a shoot, and it wasn't the first time. I charged a battery this morning and it worked at the first try.
Luis I think you gave me the key to my probleme, Well, I hope it's that one
    Thank you.

Charging the battery is a three step process.

    a) Prepare the battery for fast charge

    b) Fast charge the battery (this takes it to about 80% capacity)

    c) Top up the battery

With the current charger firmware steps a) and b) will be completed in around 2 hours, and if there is a second battery connected, the charger will switch over to do those two steps on the second battery after its completed them on the first, and then return to the first battery to complete step 3 etc.

So for a full charge on both batteries its an overnight charge timeline, but for 80% capacity you should be able to get away with 2 hours per battery.

Did you check if your battery was worm after removing from the cam? You have to wait a little bit, about 10 or 15 min. that the battery cool down. The charger will not start with the hot battery on it.....
