well, I have few folders which contain only the r3d file and no proxies. the r3d files look good on both RedCine and RedAlert but since I'm editing with FCP from the proxies, I've tried making them on RedAlert, and for some very strange reason it doesn't work (and they're not just hiding in some default folder I'm not aware of). I've also tried to make new proxies from r3d files which have original proxies in their folders (just to make sure there's no bug with the r3d files that haven't got proxies from the camera) and couldn't make new proxies from those ones either
i guess I'm missing something very basic because I know it's the simplest function, but I've tried different version of RedAlert and no good. and I do have the redcode plugin for QT
