    Thanks Tony.
What accessories use a v-mount? This isn't a battery attachment as there are no contacts.

Seems like they made it to mount their own stuff. Their raid shockmount for sure is one item. But outside ET world I'm not sure anything else mounts to it.

The ET Drive mount uses it.

Here are some pics of the ET Speedy Clamp installed on RED #8. I've been field testing the prototypes of the Speedy Clamps with V mount with the prototype ET RED drive shock mount in the pics. I have both the 15mm and 19mm Quick Clamps because at various times I use both size rods on RED One.

When using the Speedy Clamp you want to be sure you tighten down the tension knob enough to keep it from rotating on the rod you mount it on. You can easily change three little screws on the back of the mount V plate so enable a horizontal or vertical mounting of the ET accessories

Other ET accessories in the pics are the 12" dovetail, 15mm bridge plate, top mounts, breakout box, cheese plate, EVF tube mount, and handle risers. I am one of the guys who for a long time has field tested ET prototypes before they reach shipping status. I have a high opinion of their accessories and I've found them to be well-engineered and fabricated - and very hard to break.

BTW - the ET isolation drive mount in the pics is testing out very well through tons of hard-shock mobile shooting. When using it I can't seem to get the drive to drop frames - which is a good thing.

There is another new thread on this forum about the ET iso drive mount, started by Pictorvision, who are also proto testing the mount. I posted up on that thread some info on my testing impressions of the shock mount.

Later tonight I'll post up some more pics on this thread of the Shock Mount and other ET accessories I use on RED #8.

Yo Steve, I dig how you configured your handle on those et mounts. Gives you lots of clearance above the ET cheeseplate.

Yeah, that's the new ET handle risers. They raise the handle about 2" higher and give you more clearance to screw things into the cheeseplate - and still have room to grab the handle. They weigh next to nothing and the handle itself is very light, so there isn't really an issue of raising the center of gravity on the rig. I like 'em...

I hope the real one will black, or red, instead of blue. A choice of those colors would be even better. (I'd choose black)

I assume ET has something that lets you put the drive mount directly on top of the cam as well.. it would be sweet if you could put it directly on top of the camera even without the top cheeseplate.
