I love it that "Hollywood" doesn't have to be in Hollywood, CA anymore!

    Great work.

cut that trailer by 1/2 and your trailer would be PERFECT..just a tad long....

    Amazing!

Also, I'd chime in the other way, I like the longer trailer, I think a lot of people cut trailers to look like Hollywood trailers, cut to fast music, with voice over etc. But how many indie trailers have you seen where you wonder if there's really a film behind it, if there's a story worth seeing.

Hollywood trailers can be what they are 'cause every time we see a vague super fast shot of a transformer, or a famous actor etc, we imagine an epic film behind it.

When we see an unproven directors trailer, full of vague shots and implied story lines, we assume it will be like a lot of the other indie trailers we've seen, an undeveloped idea, that will probably fall apart in longer format.

What you've done with your trailer is shown that there is actually something there, you've got good storytelling chops, it's cinematic etc.

I for one, would buy a ticket, and that's what a trailer's there to do. Nicely done!

(just my two cents, I know it's unlike a Hollywood trailer, but in this case, I think it's for the best!)

It's funny watching a trailer that I know you shot just up the road from me. GREAT looking footage that seems really like the period. Also, good work on the audio. I'm seeing alot of great picture with HD stuff, but audio that doesn't match the picture. Good to see you all got it right.

BTW, you all really impressed our local film commissioner with the RED...so much so that he couldn't wait until I got mine!

The difference between faith and insanity is that faith is the ability to hold firmly to a conclusion that is incompatible with the evidence, whereas insanity is the ability to hold firmly to a conclusion that is incompatible with the evidence
