    I see they've announced the micro APO range. I've dropped Andrew a line with some questions.

    The focal lengths are identical to the larger ones - so i am guessing they are optically the same or similar. I think I read 900g which is a little lighter than the bigger ones.

    They are quite a bit cheaper though so maybe that means inside is different.

    (EDIT: Just watched that YouTube video so the optical formula is the same - focus throw is different)

    I'm not against smaller versions but a question is going forward whether the existing form factor will continue or not.

    I think these would be a good match for Komodo and the bigger lenses on larger bodies.

    1500 is a decent price. I hope they kept the quality from the bigger brother....
