    Your right it should be in off topic, but I was kind of hoping to actually get in contact with Red so I can resolve a little issue. It appears as if there phone system has gone berserk

    What could be more on topic than service and support?

    It's not by accident that a camera is called a, "camera system;" all the elements are necessary and germane, lenses, accessories, and factory service and support.

    I'm not knocking Red's service or support, far from it, however, I do believe it's not inappropriate to voice this issue on this forum.

    Directly on point, there are few things in life more frustrating than trying to communicate with machines, or more candidly, companies that employ them, particular when we suspect it's a deliberate ploy to discourage voice communication.

    Any company can become overwhelmed with calls or have a system failure; I hope this is the case with Mike's attempts.

    I have called tech support several times and was able to get through myself but have not tried today. What's up Mike.

    It's really no biggie, my camera is out on a long term rental and they found out a few of my backup cables were bad from the factory. IE they were still sealed in their original packaging and came out of the bag faulty. So I was trying to track down some replacements. I've called 15 times, and now it's on to email.
