For those of you looking for an internal ND solution for your RED DSMC2 camera, John's been hard at work making a solution for both PL and Canon EF Mounts.

The short info, RED's OEM electronics on KipperTie's Revolva, all electronics on say Canon lenses work.

ND range = FSND (very neutral) 0.3-2.1 (7 stops + clear)

Plus you can use their diffusion filters as "cartridges" in this system.

There are some quibbles, so take a look at the Compatiblity FAQ, for S35 shooters you're in the clear. VV, some things to be aware of. For DSMC2 Cable-less displays, you will want a riser of some sort.

Pretty amazing design and effort actually.

    Pre-Orders now. Shipping March/April 2018.

Wow! Have to put my funds together :-)

Are there any pictures with Revolva attached to Red Dsmc2 camera? According to the image it seems that the rotating filter tray is taking quite some space on the top.
I use 15mm top rods for my rig, so not sure if it would clear.

    OMG this is so awesome

    Thanks Kipper Tie!

DSMC 1 compatible? It says 'no' on the site, I guess it blocks the EVF port?

Its more that the optics wouldn't work on DSMC1 - so we worked towards DSMC2 form factor.

Amazing! Been waiting for this for a long time.

Is there an option to reconfigure the ND cartridges? For instance, if I wanted clear, .6, 1.2, 1.8 in one cartridge

I'm sure the cartridges are easy enough to switch out, but I could definitely think of many shoots where I'd just like to keep one in all day and avoid switching. Thanks!
