Have been using my Scarlet-W almost 1,5 year and wanted to give her a good clean. She has been in harsh weather conditions and couldn’t now alway be covered.

Salt water, sand, dust and rain, any suggestions how to clean her properly.i

Found this tutorial for DSMC1, but it'd probably the same for DSMC2.*

When I clicked on the link I had the feeling that it was going to be this video or the other one where the dude keeps it under the tap.

Yeah, sorry, at this point I almost can't help post them... I hoped someone would've responded with a real answer.

Do you wanna do it yourself? Because I'm pretty sure any of the certified resellers in the US are also capable of doing a cleaning. Also rental houses.

I'm pretty sure the internals are sealed off from the elements, so the only places that could get dirty would be where modules/mounts connect and the fan intake/outtake.

We shoot for months at a time with these cameras. Rain, sand ,saltwater
Spray ...it is all part of life. Wipe down exterior of body with distilled H2O after a day in salt spray , spray electrical ports with contact cleaner....use a small paintbrush
to wipe off sand, . Sometimes I use a gun cleaning rag but NOT silicone impregnated, that will attract grit. If you have sand /grime behind the OLPF then it might be time to send in for a more thorough cleaning
