    I think you would notice a difference in certain scene scenarios where one scaling type might be more advantageous than another. You may also want an image with "Smoother" less sharp edges say for example a close-up shot of your actors verses a wide establishing landscape shot.

    Sure Rand,

    I would do that in post before upscaling.
    The only thing we upscale is SD to FHD (and it's still crap quality).

    Agreed, I was just meaning for those few which are forced to shoot in 4K that now they have the option to use an Arri Alexa LF together with the Mini on the few shots where smaller size is required.

    First Alexa LF and now the movie "Face 2 Face" that is entirely shot on GoPro will be on Netflix. Has Netflix gone soft on the requirements?

    There is a large difference between the standards that Netflix issues for "produced by Netflix titles" and projects they purchase to stream.

    Face 2 Face was/is an indi film whose distribution rights were purchased by Netflix.
