    I hate to say it, but Red doesn’t really support Nikon very well. There may be good technical reasons for it, but they’ve never really explained why.

    I'm in the middle of this nightmare as well.

    Brand new Scarlet with a Nikon mount fresh out of the box from RED and am getting nowhere -- I've tried 3 lenses on the approved list and nothing works

    Had this happen to me a few times over the years, most of the time it was locked @ wide open, had to use a lot of ND's and it was a real pain!

    Have you tried rediscover?
