EF? For goodness sakes. Oh well, whatever.
Good production values may not be noticed. Bad production values will be.

Totally don't understand the market this is aimed at compared to current offerings at the moment. It is early days though, so maybe the image is pure Otus and APO in which case they could be ones to watch...

    cheers

The tricky thing with an early leak like this (if that is what it is) is that the people who have used these lenses can't talk about them yet... the import questions can't be answered...

    for example.

    Do they cover monstro?
    Do they flare?
    If yes what colour?
    What weight are they?
Are they sufficiently free from chromatic aberration?
Is the look like ARRI/Zeiss masters or do they depart from that approach?
Is it a photographic look or more cinema in approach? Upfront crisp or more easy going?

... anyway good to see an interesting addition to FF glass... and the speed is very impressive... also I am very pleased that Zeiss are still committed to high end cinema glass!!

Nice range, Leica and ARRI will get some good competition from these lenses when the prices are around the € 15k, as mentioned in the article.
