Installling the Sony UDF drivers on your Mac will make the Mac read your UDF formatted Mini Mag.

If you have access to a mac and a pc with paragon (or similar) software, I'd try both. I had an odd experience once where a mac couldn't read a UDF card but my PC with paragon could.

Hey all you smart RedUsers... is there a downside to using FAT32? Any particular advantage to UDF? I am on slightly older Macs right now. Haven't been shooting lately so now sure if anything has changed. Thanks.

UDF positive = large file size, prores files does not get chopped up in bits. The r3ds also comes out as one file, which does not matter much as most programs know how to stich them together.

UDF minus = I find that sometimes it takes long time to mount the drives. And yes some seams to have problem to mount at all.
