Did you upgrade to the newest firmware?
i did yes...newest firmware...did not work before...doesn't work now.
you mean the bluetooth?
I'm curious what people are doing for battery solutions to power the Gemini?
I've been looking around for a solution to take a couple of V-mount (or gold mount) batteries to power the Gemini. I have a few 270wh hi-rate discharge v-mount batteries that would love to power the Gemini. :)

Bob,
That looks like the exact solution I've been looking for. :)
Bad news, took it in to Vitec, guy said it was probably a hardware issue with the jog dial. He is currently taking it apart and they are shipping me another one. Hope this one doesn't have the same issue.
So I just updated the Firmware and did some more testing, I am convinced this is a firmware bug. The accuracy of all three dials are off and values jump around significantly. I have a bunch of synthesizers and have had several with rotary encoders with accuracy issues exactly like this, some fixed by firmware updates and others with either poor support and no updates to fix or just a mismatch of encoder design and microprocessor thresholds, the latter being a big oops in original design. My hope is Litepanels/Vitec can provide a firmware update to resolve this issue, as it can be pretty bad and extremely frustrating at times when trying to make very minor adjustments via all three dials. If not fingers crossed this will not be an issue with the BT dongle and app as I will likely use that the most when it shows up. Can somebody with a BT dongle in hand check for adjustment accuracy via app?
The light itself is a beast and works very well :) Happy with purchase!
you could be right, just got this from Vitec support,
"We currently are not aware of a hardware or component level discrepancy with the Gemini light fixture. We are currently reviewing your fixture and are still examining the root issue with this particular unit, this might be a firmware fix.
If other users are experiencing the same issue we encourage them to message servicesupport@vitecgroup.com and start a similar process as you did while we continue to investigate and find out what exactly is going on.
Again, your unit was the first to complain of this issue."
So if you are having the same problems you should reach out let them know.
