Did a shoot recently and the sun was beating down across a totally cloudless sky, harsh shadows everywhere, what would be the best gamma curve settings in Raw to help make it less harsh?
    Thanks in advance

Maybe try a "Low Con/Soft" for that situation. A "Med Con" would exacerbate the problem and a "No Con" would open up the noise in the shadows you would have to crush down later anyway. a "Med Hi-R-Off", I think, would make the highlights that much hotter and a "Very Soft" can give you "flat" "mids" that you will have to bump up in post and a not so pleasant "highlight" transition, IMHO. Do you have any footage of this footage?
