  1. #1 What to do with your movie
I never really know the best way to get my movies out there...just saw this site...
indieroad.net. (http://www.youtube.com/indieroad) looks like a fairly new site, seems like it could get pretty big. anyone know more about it? all I know is indie filmmakers can post their films and make some money each time it’s downloaded.

they’ve got a few films on it already…I really liked “Hair of the Dog.”

seems like a cool idea to me…

It needs to be HD quality something like Vimeo or better. One thing I hate about "YOUTube" is the quality. It sucks. It seems this site has okay quality. The price is fine and they don't charge a fee to exhibit or submission. Nice.

    Hope it does well.

As filmmakers, we struggled with really bad offers from potential traditional distributors, so we formed a small distribution company and now we market our films and the films of our friends to all the major digital platforms. We take a small fee and all the rest goes to the filmmakers. We get our films on CinemaNow, Jaman, Indiepix, EZTakes, Amazon, etc. and starting next month our films will go up on iTunes and other big retail sites. Anyone can submit their films to these sites, though I think we get a little priority for having a whole catalogue of films. We're planning on shooting our next film on RED and are working on storyboards with Frame Forge. It's almost like shooting the movie as it lets us see what lens we have to use, the camera placement, etc. You can check out our storyboards on my partners site at: http://www.michaelmadison.com
