    Yes, and in 6 years they come up with the novel idea to put everything in one box, and you can buy/replace only the components you need.

    Maybe have 5 PCI style slots and 16 user replaceable RAM slots in a giant box that could accommodate a 600w power supply with oversized fans that run cool and quite. Perhaps called it a Quadra 950. Wait . . .

    Well, that confirms it... this is a half-assed attempt to stem the tide of people migrating off of the platform to systems that are quite simply superior.
