    Hi - new the forum and was wondering if anyone else on here has been experiencing backorder issues with RED (handles, monitors, I/O's etc.) if so do you know how long does their backorder fulfillments usually take? I know like Canon through my experience are only days. Being a new RED owner I have no idea how it works.

    So if anyone has similar experience that would be really great to hear from you.

    I think what Red tells you is going to be the closest to reality. If it's backordered it's pretty likely it won't be less than a week.

    If it is accessories you want (rather than the brain itself), then there are other companies which carry RED products and could have it in stock right now to get it to you faster, for example:

    Also you could go with third parties, get your handles from Zacuto, your monitor from SmallHD, your I/O module from Tilta, etc

    Thanks so much guys! Yeah my RED rep Patrick is doing such an amazing job staying on top of my orders, see the thing was I did a package order of everything not knowing it would go into back order, I had about 12 items on my order and the brain came within a day or 2, then the rest started coming in a few days later and up to this date, I am now down to 1 more part which is the I/O Expander and still in backorder. So still hoping I get it within the week or next week.

    I have to give it to the RED reps they do try to really push your order out as much as they are capable of.
