    Hey fellow RUers,

How do you sharpen your footages?
I found some posts and tutorials online but nothing seems to achieve it yet.

When shooting I love the edge focus. It's great for focusing but sometimes I'd would like to have sharpness close to it in post. I say close to it because I'd like to avoid the moire and grains it brings.
Any tips on how to achieve that?

    Thanks!

depending on what apps you use to do your post in... lots of options

REDCine-X - use the 'POST TOOL' set and you have 'Clarity' in the Alchemy Group, Unsharp Mark and the 'High Pass Sharpen' - can be used individually, or in combination. I use these all the time.

FCPx - you have the Sharpen settings

Resolve - basic sharpen - and I pretty sure there are plugins for more advanced sharpening options (I've found the basic sharpen works well)

and the Adobe product groups have various sharpen filter...

Thanks Clark! The last set of films you've shared are amazing! Loved watching them and oh boy they're sharp!

The post tool is a great tips, I neither had been adventuring there before.
