Gorgeous video -- I would love to know what the editor's export settings were in Resolve for YouTube, lol. I must be missing something.

Was just at the Frame.io event for the release of Off the Tracks (doc about the FCP X release).

As an opener of sorts, the Mark Toia piece was shown on the big screen and it was VERY impressive.

Was about to resurrect an old thread I wrote back when the film was in early release.

It's a very well made documentary that's topically about the FCP X release but further explores technology and the effect on the artist and perhaps vice versa. It reminds me a little of the film Side by Side which covered similar ground with analog and digital as it relates to cameras.

It's also interesting how the film is being self distributed on the emerging digital platforms.

I highly recommend checking it out.
And no, you don't have to be an FCP X user to appreciate it though it definitely does highlight the
    strengths of the program.

Not sure if it was recorded but there was an interesting discussion with Filmmaker Brad Olson, Sam Mestman (wizard of workflow) and Emery Wells (very early RED adopter and the man behind Frame.io). It was a quite a cool event.
