Been working on a documentary here in Uganda for about a week and starting to notice a green stadic under the info panel and at time under the shaded area out side the picture being recorded and at the bottom of the EVF in some situations. I also noticed the other day we had to power down and reboot to get rid of the green noise under the picture when we changed batteries during an interview. When I checked it back at the end of the day on the computer everything seemed fine, it was only a EVF problem. We are shooting 3K 2.1 RC36 at 29.97 This EVF situation has started only when the camera or viewfinder seems to get warm, not hot and when the exposure is just right. Is this a codec error just about to happen or just a problem with the EVF. I think its the EVF. Has the same greeness as when you start up and the EVF goes a little green but like grain or noise.
Also changed to 4K 2.1 RC36 for a day of shooting and had my first Codec Error when shooting a basin of Coffee beans just picked off the vine tumbling in to a pulper. Lots of detail and info. Oh one more thing ran off the end of a CF card when shooting 60fps and lost the entire cards work. Any relationship with other problems Im having.
Just wondering if anyone has had the green noise under the info panel at the bottom of the EVF screen and are still having Codec Errors. I think the CF card speaks for its self as I should not run off the end of media space at 60fps or any other rate.
