Wasnt it a software program that let you do your do the keymapping, so you could move your settings easier betwen cameras.

Also do you take of every module when you do your updates?

You can set key functionality through FoolControl - way faster than scrolling through the massive menus in camera.

Can you copy your current hotkeys and transfeer it to the updated firmware? I rarely bother to upgrade unless there is an important feature just because i have to redo hotkeys and take the modules of.

But if its not that important to take of the modules then its atleast one hassle less. I dig the tooless mounting of the dsmc1 side handle, i wish they kept it.

Good suggestion on using fool control. I have only briefly used it i jan. Will use it more on android!

Thanks, this was the program I was thinking of.

Does anybody compared it to fool control and know what benefit they both has when it comes to copy and move around hotkeys between cameras or firmware upgrades?

Thanks Clark! I don't own a Red camera, but I always like having really useful Software from Red.

I thought this was a great idea but confused by this instruction of putting the preset created onto the redmag:

Place the saved preset file into the ěPresetsî folder on your RED SSD. If there is not a "Presets"
folder on the SSD, create one now.
