For some reason there is no option for 30fps on the project timebase of my epic dragon. I can set the frame rate to custom (30fps) but not the project time base. I donít think itís always been like this. Any help would be appreciated.

Why do you want to set an exact 30fps? For all practical purposes, 29.97fps will be the framerate you want to use to maintain reverse compatibility with existing infrastructure.

Yes. For the most part 24fps is always really 23.98, 30fps is 29.97 unless you are doing some very specialty stuff

Essentially for when I am combining it with 60FPS footage, it makes it easier to half the frame rate rather than doing all the math and lining up. Was there never an option for a project timebase of 30fps?

But shouldn't 60 FPS actually be 59.94? So it's still a clean 2x speed change?

Is your original source 60? Or is it 59.94?
    Cheers,
