There’s gotta be a cool app for that no? Any suggestions?

I’d like to be able to offload the entire mag to one drive and only the prores lt proxies to another drive.

    What’s the best solution?

    Thanks everyone.

    QUineIngest could do this.

    www.quine.no

    Only OSX

    free to use.

As we are working on a new ingest solution that incorporates a lot more than Qi currently does, there will not be added features to the existing Qi...

How I do it is copy the entire mag to whatever drive you’re offloading to. Then, once it’s copied over, do a finder search for the .mov files specifically, and delete them off the drive. Or vice-versa and search for the .r3d files and delete. That way your folder structures stay in tact.

    Thanks guys.

I’m already comfortable with shotput pro. Ideally I’d love to automate this process. Has anyone used an ap like Hazel or Automator to make this happen?
