    Trying to figure out the best way to power my Dragon when using the Emotimo St4 w/ DD. Would like to power it off the V-Mount attached to the ST4. I have a couple of IDX DUO-C 190's that have an 50w unregulated d-tap. Anyone using this method?

    Epic Dragon draws about 60w when recording so you'd need to get another battery with a higher d-tap output. Your camera might turn on with your current batteries but should just turn off in couple of minutes because of the too low discharge rating. I've been succesfully powering our Epic Dragon from Dynacore DM-155S batteries which have 8A 100W d-tap outputs.

    Thanks, Lauri. Where did you find the specs for the Dynacores? I don't see the info on their website. I'm also looking at the new IDX DUO-C 198 which have 80 watt d-tap ports.
